ROTY Studio

Record of the Year (ROTY) Studio is a toolkit for amateur rappers to improve their lyrics and their recordings. Using NLP for lyrical analysis, we have analyzed the lyrics of critically acclaimed rappers and featurized the poetic and narrative structures in the text in order to create a generative model that will suggest changes to a user's uploaded lyrics. For our recording tool, we have analyzed the vocal tracks of the same rapper set and featurized the musical aspects of the recording in order to suggest changes to the performance of a user's uploaded recording and also do time stretching to perfect the recording.
