AIERO: AI co-pilot for Energy Resource Optimization

The increasing computational demands driven by artificial intelligence have led to a sharp rise in the energy consumption of data centers, which already account for approximately 2% of global electricity use. Projections indicate this figure could grow to 8% by 2030, rivaling emissions from the aviation industry. Despite advances in energy efficiency, overall energy usage in data centers has continued to escalate, revealing an urgent need for innovative solutions.

AIERO, an AI-powered platform for energy optimization, aims to bridge this gap by equipping data centers with tools to manage energy consumption effectively. The platform integrates machine learning models to predict energy demands, optimize workload distribution, and provide actionable insights on carbon footprint tracking and renewable energy integration. With features such as cost-benefit analysis for efficiency upgrades and climate-driven operational strategies, AIERO represents a crucial step toward a sustainable future. By supplementing technological innovation with environmental responsibility, this project embodies the ethos of leveraging interdisciplinary expertise to tackle real-world challenges.
